When our youth group gets together, you have an opportunity to explore real life questions and find deep eternal truths that point the way through the challenges you’re facing.  But you also meet up with others who want to hang with you, get to know you, have fun with you and grow with you.

On Wednesday evenings it’s all about getting together for study, discussion and games.  We look at what it means to run the race of life in a way sets our sights on Christ not on the stuff that so easily distracts us.  Sunday mornings we're also digging in to the four main things every person should know.  We want to know God.  We want to know ourselves.  We want to know our purpose.  And we want to know the Gospel.  Then there’s also the last Sunday of every month when we get together right after the morning worship service for Pearls and Breakaway.  Pearls is where the girls get together with the gals on staff and Breakaway is (you guessed it) where the guys get together with the guys on staff.  We talk through things that you might not want to talk about in a mixed group. 

But that’s not all, because the Christian life isn’t just about learning and talking and playing.  The Christian life is also about serving.  Did you know that the Old Testament word for “serve” is the same word for “worship”?  Pretty cool…. our service can be an act of worship.  That’s why we get out and serve in different places.  Whether it’s helping out with a shelter in Newark or serving some of our seniors around the corner, we want to put our faith into action.
