COMING EVENTS
September 8 - Deadline for bulletin and prayer list information to be called, emailed, or sent into the church office, 12:00 noon.
September 12 - Rally Day. Come out at 9:00 AM to sign up for children's and adult ministries. Sunday Discipleship will commence at 9:30 AM
September 12 - Sunday Morning Worship will begin at 10:15 AM and will remain at that time until next summer.
September 18 - Calvary Fall Fair, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM. Games, inflatables, food, and lots of fun for the whole family. Don't miss it!
September 20 - Starting Point: Starting September 20 and running for 10 weeks, we will once again offer a small group for Seekers (exploring the Christian faith), Starters (beginning a journey with Christ), and Returners (coming back to Christ). September 29 - Special Called Business Meeting: The Elders have scheduled this special meeting for the express purpose of voting on Paul Voltmer as Associate Pastor, Fellowship Hall, 7:30 PM.
October 2 - Membership Class, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM. Do you belong at Calvary but have never formally taken the step of membership? Don't put it off! This all-day membership class will include a light breakfast and lunch. Contact Paul Voltmer to sign up for the class.
October 2 - World Impact Banquet, World Impact Ministry building in Newark. $25 per person. Call 973-483-3833 for reservations.
October 27 - Special Business Meeting, 7:30 PM. The Elders are pleased to announce that they have asked Joe Vigilante to serve as Youth Minister on an interim basis until it can be brought to the congregation for a vote for a permanent position. Joe has accepted the interim position. The Elders will call a special business meeting on Oct 27th at 7:30 for the express purpose of a Q&A time with Joe followed by a vote. Rejoice with us at God's generous privision!
