MINISTRIES SUNDAY SERVICES AND MINISTRIES Worship Services: The pinnacle of our week is when we
assemble as a church on the first day to worship the Triune God!
Every Sunday
we have Sunday School for children and adults beginning
at 9:00 AM,
a morning worship service
at 10:15 AM
and an
evening gathering for praise, fellowship and Bible teaching
at 6:00 PM.
Nursery: Nursery care is provided at all Sunday services for children age 3 and under. Children's Church Kids Under Construction 2nd hour: We offer programs for children age 4 through grade 2 during our morning service. Sunday Bible School and Kids Under Construction 1st hour:
We invite you to come
and study with us in our Sunday Bible School at 9:00 AM.
Classes are available for all age groups, including
a variety of electives for adults.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES Club Programs- Check out our club programs and you will find great ways for children and teens to explore the Bible and develop practical life skills. Pioneer Girls: Pioneer Clubs is a national organization sponsored by evangelical churches. It is designed to help girls grow in the knowledge of God and His Word, form healthy relationships with family members, peers and adults and to develop positive feelings about themselves. Club meetings provide opportunities for girls to develop new skills, make friends, have fun and develop Christian values which affect every area of their lives through Bible study, crafts, cooking, games and outings. Ages: Girls, Grades 1-6 Time: Mondays , 6:45-8:15pm (Sept - May) Christian Service Brigade: Christian Service Brigade is also a national organization. Our program includes boys and young men from kindergarten through 12th grade. Their purpose is to encourage boys and young men in a desire to become strong Christian men and develop leadership skills. Tree Climbers Ages: Boys, Kindergarten - Grade 2 and their fathers (or another significant male) Time: Thursdays, 6:30-8:00pm (Sept - May) Stockade Ages: Boys, Grade 3 - 6 Time: Mondays, 6:45-8:15pm (Sept - May) Battalion Age: Young men, ages 12-18 Time: Mondays, 6:45-8:15pm (Sept - May) Vacation Bible School: Each year in July we have a week of VBS for 4 year olds through 6th grade.
YOUTH MINISTRIES Does the Bible speak to today's youth? We are certain it does and have a youth program committed to proving it. FCYF (Free Church Youth
Fellowship). The
purpose of this time is to grow closer as friends and to consider truth from
God's Word. Beyond the weekly meetings are opportunities for small group discipleship,
missions and service projects, regional conferences, retreats, socials and
other activities. ADULT MINISTRIES The Well - College and Young Adult: Our College and Young Adult Leadership group is currently planning a new format for this ministry. Information on meeting times will be available in the coming months. Wednesday Bible and Prayer Fellowship: S.D. Gordon wrote that prayer is "partnership with God in His planet-sized purposes." We believe it and gather each week to explore His Word and to devote ourselves to a simple but significant time in prayer. Ages: All Ages Time: Wednesdays, 7:30pm We have 3 ministries for women. Women's Bible Study: If you are looking for a good morning Bible Study, we have a dynamic group that meets for Bible Study, prayer, sharing and fellowship. Baby-sitting is provided. Ages: Women of all ages Time: Tuesdays, 9:15-11:30am (Oct - June). Women's Ministries: FCWM (Free Church Women's Ministries) is a group of ladies who meet each month with the goal to promote spiritual fellowship among ladies of our church and to provide opportunities for service and involvement in home and foreign missionary projects. Ages: Women of all ages Time: 2nd Tuesday, 7:45pm (Sept. - June) Ladies' Aid: A women's missions organization for the purpose of supporting missionaries in the field, both home and abroad, financially and by prayer. They have a guest speaker and pot-luck supper together. Ages: Women, all ages Time: Thursdays, 4:00-7:00pm (Sept - June) We also have 3 ministries for men. Men's Bible Study: meets in conjunction with Ladies' Aid. The men have their own Bible Study and then join the ladies for dinner. Ages: Men, all ages Time: Thursdays, 4:30pm (Sept - June) Men's Breakfast: A group of men meet each week to enjoy each other's fellowship, discuss current events, read from the church devotional guide, pray, and of course, eat breakfast! Ages: Men of all ages Time: Tuesdays, 7:00am Location: Eagle Rock Diner City Gates Home Fellowships: We have several home fellowship groups that meet in individual homes. If you are interested in attending a home fellowship in your area, please call the church office.
