Final Edition
This March edition of the Calvary Newsletter will be the final edition. We began printing the newsletter in 1996, before e-mail was a household luxury. We are communicating more and more information through e-mail and through the Calvary website, including updates to the church directory. The calendar seems to change weekly so by the time it is printed, it is often outdated. Most of the information you read can be obtained through the church bulletin or the web. If at some point in the future we determine that it is necessary again, we will revisit the printing of a monthly or quarterly newsletter. Right now it seems to be an unnecessary expense.

Teacher of the Year!
Pam Schaefer was named Science, Mathematics and Technology Teacher of the Year by Kean University’s New Jersey Center for Science and Technology Education. Pam earned this top award because of her innovation in the classroom and her use of the latest instructional and research technology. She teaches kids to use cutting-edge scientific equipment to conduct experiments. Pam diligently reads and does research outside the classroom in order to keep current in her field. She earned a Master of Arts in human resources and administration and has her New Jersey Teacher Certification in supervision, student personnel services, comprehensive science and health education! She has received other awards such as the Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Teaching, a Teacher Field Expedition Award from Earthwatch International and a Leadership Award from Princeton University Plasma Physics Laboratory. Pam has been in the teaching field for 20 years and is currently a science teacher at the Vernon Township High School.. Her students and colleagues say that the most significant of her talents is her ability to inspire and nurture her students. Congratulations, Pam!!

Kim and Dave Trimmer have two cars for sale. They have a 1992 Oldsmobile with 97,000 miles. They are asking $2,500 or best offer. They also have a Ford F150 pick-up with 140,000 miles. It has a new engine and transmission. They are asking $3,500 or best offer. Call them at (908) 233-8626.
